Dr.
Xiuling Ma, Ph.D., O.M.D., L.Ac., is one of the world's most highly
educated professionals in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine
(TCM). She has completed an impressive 12 years of education in
both integrated TCM and western medicine. Dr. Ma studied directly
under two distinguished TCM Masters in China, including one of the
two most highly respected TCM physicians in China today.
Due to her extensive education and experience, Dr. Ma is authorized
to treat patients at both Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Daniel
Freeman Hospital. She has published more than a dozen professional
books and articles on various TCM subjects, including acupuncture,
herbology and TCM nutrition.
Dr. Ma is currently the chair of the Classical Chinese Medicine
department at American University of Complementary Medicine in Los
Angeles and is a professor at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine.
Dr. Ma maintains a private practice, Acu-Herbal Medical Arts, where
she treats a wide variety of conditions and diseases, using acupuncture
and herbs from her on-site pharmacy.
